How to study on your commute
If you commute even 20 minutes each way, that's over three hours a week of time you could spend revising — without sitting down at a desk. The catch is that a commute is a hands-busy, eyes-busy environment, so reading notes usually isn't an option. Audio is.
Build a commute-friendly library
- Record short episodes — one topic each — so you can match the listen to the length of your journey.
- Name episodes clearly (e.g. "Immune System", "Cell Division") so you can pick the right one quickly.
- Batch a whole week of notes in one session, then download them all to your phone for offline listening.
Listen with intent
Don't just let it wash over you. Pick one episode per trip, and afterwards spend the last minute mentally summarising what you heard. On the way home, replay the same episode and notice what you'd forgotten — those gaps are exactly what to review tonight.
Because Audena gives you a plain MP3, your episodes work in whatever you already use — Apple Podcasts, Pocket Casts, Overcast, or your music player — fully offline.
